What is the greatest miracle? Without a doubt, the born-again experience. What is the next greatest miracle? It is God changing your foundation. The Coming Reformation.
God has first had to shake all of your structures. All the works of your hands have needed to first be shaken. This has begun globally a few years ago. It is necessary before most will even consider that their foundation is shaky.
Have you ever tried to witness to a Jehovah Witness? Have you tried to change their mind? Show them that they are wrong and to show them the truth? It is not much different in changing a Christian's foundation, especially one who is in ministry! Impossible! Only God can do this ... and reveal their distorted foundation to this Christian, resulting in repentance, putting aside all that they are doing - yes, all that they are doing for the Lord - and to have their tree completely cut down. Once cut down, deep roots need to be established and growth comes slowly. This process will take many years for the Lord to establish you in a new foundation.
This is why the coming reformation leading to the final revival is all of God. None of man. Many will stubbornly cling to their old way and refuse the Lord in this matter. There are many - almost all - foundations that He desires to uproot and change. One example of this is the Word-faith foundation.
My call, by the grace of God, is to be a wise master builder (1 Corinthians 3:10) laying the new foundation - the classical Christian foundation - carefully. Brick by brick. Nothing more. Many will build on this foundation and revival will come on the wings on reform.
Some may scoff at the foundation saying in their hearts that they are "mature and seasoned" believers and that they have it all together...and this is like going back to the ABC's! A humbling experience - even insulting to some. A sword will pierce the hearts of many.
Brick by brick...I lay the foundation. Nothing more. Have you experienced this miracle in your life? It will be the most important experience and change that you will have after being saved (and later baptized in the Holy Spirit). If you have experienced this miracle, it will be the central focus of your life as a believer. This is how significant this change and reformation will be in your life.
"Ah! brother preachers, we love the old saints, missionaries, martyrs, reformers: our Luthers, Bunyans, Wesleys... etc. We will write their biographies, reverence their memories, frame their epitaphs, and build their monuments. We will do anything except imitate them . We cherish the last drop of their blood, but watch carefully the first drop of our own!" - RAVENHILL
